Day to Day Itinerary:
- DAY 1: DEPARTURE Depart from SFO or LAX by Singapore Airlines
- DAY 2: KATHMANDU Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit Swayambhunath
Stupa, which is dedicated to Buddhism, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Also, visit Hanumandhoka Palace of the Malla Kings.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
- DAY 3: KATHMANDU (BREAKFAST) After breakfast, visit Pashupati Nath Temple, the holiest
Hindu Temple that draws devotees from all over Nepal and India. This temple is situated on the bank of Bagmati River, which
is considered as holy as Ganges. Cremations are held throughout the day on the banks of the Bagmati River. Then you will
drive to Boudha Nath Stupa, the biggest stupa in the world. This is one of the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. From
there, you will drive to Bhaktapur, one of the three principalities of medieval Kathmandu. Also see the Golden Gate of the
Palace of 55 Windows. From there, journey to Patan, another medieval Malla principality near Kathmandu. There, you will visit
the main courtyard of Malla palace, which is adorned with intricate woodcarvings. In front of the palace stands the famous
Krishna Temple of the 17th century, a replica of Viswanth Temple, Jagan Narayan Temple, etc. YOU will also visit Hiranyavarna
Mahavihar, a 14th century Buddhist Monastery that is the center of the rites and rituals of the Newari Buddhists of Patan. In
the evening, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- DAY 4: KATHMANDU-CHITWAN (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER) After breakfast, you will take a scenic
4-5 hour drive, along Trishuli River to Chitwan National Park, in the lowlands of Nepal. After lunch in a jungle camp, you
will be escorted on a short walking tour to the village and park information center. In the eveing, you will walk along the
riverbank and enjoy a romantic sunset view. There will be a slideshow presentation or a briefing on wildlife by an expert
naturalist. Overnight in Chitwan.
- DAY 5: CHITWAN (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER) In the morning, you will go for a canoe trip to
explore the aquatic life of Chitwan National Park. You will have an opportunity to see some rare aquatic bird life of the
park. After the canoe ride, you will be picked up by the riverside and transfer to hotel or you can go to search wildlife on
foot in the forest of the park. This is quite an adventurous trip. You will wak back to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you
will enjoy the Elephant Back Safari. The elephant takes you inside the dense forest and grassland in seach of Great Asian
One-horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Deer, Monkeys, Wild Boar, and 460 different species of birds. After a one hour
ride, you will come back to camp. IN the evening, there will be Tharu Tribal Dance performed. Overnight in Chitwan.
- DAY 6: CHITWAN-POKHARA(BREAKFAST) In the morning, you will go for a refreshing morning walk
in the neighboring forest with binoculars in order to view some birds of the park. After breakfast, you will drive to
Pokhara. Pokhara valley is the second largest tourist attraction after Kathmandu, and is regarded as one of the most beatiful
places in Nepal. In the afternoon, you will stroll along the lakeside and enjoy boating in Phewa Lake. The reflection of
Mount Machapuchare (Fishtail) on the tranquil surface of Phewa Lake is an unforgettable sight. Overnight in Pokhara.
- DAY 7: POKAHRA In the morning, you will go for a sunrise tour to Sarangkot from where you
will have a splendid view of Annapurna massif, Machhpuhhre, Dhulagiri and other mountains. You will drive back or walk down
to Pokhara. After lunch, you will visit Mahendra Cave, a unique geographical creation, Davis Fall, Bhindhevasini Temple,
etc. Overngith in Pokahra.
- DAY 8: KATHMANDU Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- DAY 9: DEPARTURE Transfer to airport for flight to next destination.
